  • Making a Reservation

    • Reservations can be made by calling 501.991.3600 

    • A $500.00 deposit due upon booking confirms your houseboat reservation and is applied to your rental fee. 

    • Upon receipt of your deposit, a rental agreement will be mailed and is due back in our office along with the balance of the rental fee 45 days prior to departure or reservation automatically cancels. 

    • If reservation is made less than 45 days prior to departure, the full amount of rental fee is due at time reservation is made.

    • At time of departure, a $1000.00 cleaning deposit is due by cash or credit card.  If houseboat is in satisfactory condition, the deposit will be returned within 10 days of trips end.

    • Deposits and rental payments can be made by either  major credit cards, cash, Traveler’s Check, money order, or certified check.

    • Make checks payable to "Wake Zone" and mail to:

  • Making a Cancellation

    • Any cancellation made prior to 45 days of rental period will receive deposit less $100 facilitating fee and if paid by credit card an additional 3% credit card processing fee.  

    • All cancellations made less than 45 days of rental period will lose total deposit and rental fees.

  • Rescheduling a Reservation

    • All rescheduling must be made prior to 45 days of rental period.

    • Customers may reschedule in the same calendar year only for a $50.00 facilitating fee.

    General Rental and Reservation Information

    • Must be 21 years of age with valid driver's license.

    • Must have a valid major credit card.

    • Sorry, pet are not allowed.  A boarding service is nearby, ask for details.

    • Smoking is not permitted.

    • Check-in between 3 P.M. and 5 P.M. on first day of departure.

    • Check-out is 10 A.M. SHARP on last day of cruise.

    • We supply linens, towels, wash clothes, comforters and 2 pillows per bed at no extra charge.

    • Satellite receiver is included at no charge on all 4 and 7  bedroom boats.

    • We do not provide a damage waiver, renter is responsible for all damages.

    • Rental fees do not include tax or fuel.

    • All houseboats are full of fuel at time of departure.

    • Gas cans or marine/car batteries are not permitted.

    • Personal barbeque grills are not permitted on boats.

    • Rates subject to change.

    • All fireworks must be discharged at least 200 feet from houseboat, preferably downwind of houseboat.

    With so many different houseboat rental companies, how do you make the right choice for you and your party?

    Here are a few booking tips to make sure you have the vacation experience of a lifetime!

    1. Find out the age of the houseboat you are interested in.  Wake Zone's houseboats are in our fleet for a maximum of 5 years.  This ensures our houseboats are always in pristine condition.
    2. When comparing houseboats of similar length, make sure to also compare the width.  Most 4 bedroom houseboats and some 6 bedroom houseboats are 14' or 15' wide.  All of Wake Zone's houseboats are 16' wide.  
    3. Ask about "extra fees".  Other houseboat companies will charge extra for satellite television, linens, and hot tub.  These "extra fees" may run up to $300.00!  Wake Zone includes all of the above items with no extra charge.
